Please be aware of the following wax melt safety information.

Use only with an unscented tea light or an electric burner, following the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Ensure the burner is on a stable, heat-resistant, and fire-safe surface.

Do not burn for more than four hours at a time.

Safety Instructions:
Do not place fingers or hands inside the unit while it is lit or in use.  To reduce the risk of injury, keep the burner out of reach of children and pets.Never leave the burner unattended or operating out of sight. Place the unit on a level, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from other heat sources.  Do not overfill the bowl. You may top up only after the wax has fully melted.  The burner may become hot during use. Do not touch it, and avoid contact with heated wax as it can cause burns.  Allow the burner to cool completely before handling or moving it. Do not use metal objects to remove or scrape out wax, as this may crack or damage the burner.  Refer to Changing Your Wax Melts for recommended methods. Wax Melt Storage: Wax melts are sensitive to light and temperature. You can avoid your wax melts from cracking and melting by storing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep your wax melts dust free by keeping the extra wax in their clamshells or back in the sealed packaging dispatched to you.

Changing Your Wax Melts: Historically, there are two ways that you can remove your used wax melts in order to start anew. We call it the hot or cold method —or liquid or hard. 

If your warmer has been on and your wax is liquid, take two cotton balls, set them in the warmer tray, let it absorb, and discard cotton balls. This is perfect for the warmers without removable lids. Then, take a paper towel and wipe away any excess wax. 

If your wax warmer is not on and the wax has hardened, we think it is easier to remove it by turning the warmer back on/relighting the tea light for 10-30 seconds so that the wax loosens in the dish and is easier to remove as a solid piece. Apply a light amount of pressure to the wax and the melt should pop out in a semi-solid form. Be sure to wipe away any excess with a paper towel.
